Hooked on HIm by lulu.lemon: http://www.wattpad.com/24454558-hooked-one#.Uid4ZdI4SSp
(Note: This looks to be a word for word copy with only the character names changed. Although she did apparently attempt to hide it by writing her own summary.)

I haven't checked any of her other stories. I have contacted lulu.lemon, but so far I haven't heard back from her. It seems that TheFriendOfEeyore decided to delete my comment (the only comment on her story) questioning her about her story. I've reported it to wattpad, but strangely have not received a response back.

A Letter to FictionPress
integritywoman
The extraordinary extent of Sameer Shahnewaz's plagiarism inspired me to write this letter to the FP administrators, and I thought I'd share it with you. I encourage all of you, if you are so inclined, to write to them as well. The more of us they hear from, the more likely they are to actually do something.

Dear FictionPress,

I've been an author on your site for over eight years. During that time, I've read some of the most amazing and heartfelt stories I've ever had the good fortune to come across, but I have also seen the havoc that plagiarism can wreak on a once-thriving community. Many of your best authors have taken their work down because it has been stolen by individuals on other websites, and their departure is an enormous loss for your network and those who use it.

Recently, this epidemic has taken a sinister turn. FictionPress stories are being stolen and sold on websites like Amazon for profit. Some of my fellow authors and I recently uncovered a man who had stolen over twenty stories from various authors and was selling them as his own. I'm sure I don't need to tell you that this is unacceptable.

The amount of plagiarism could be severely reduced, however, if you could disable copy-and-paste on your website. Currently, a person can view a FictionPress story, highlight the text, and copy it. This has been disabled on other creative writing sites, so it is certainly possible to format story pages in such a manner.

Making this change would benefit not only your writers, but also the site itself. Every time a popular author removes his or her stories from FictionPress because of plagiarism, readers become discouraged and abandon the site as well. The pool of quality literature is depleted, and your readership declines. It would thus be in your best interest from a business standpoint to disable copy-and-paste.

At this point, I am sure you're aware of the petition suggesting this very change. It has over three hundred signatures and continues to gather more every day. Please listen to your authors, because this truly can't go on any longer.

Sincerely,
Katherine

Converse and Heels by ModernCinderella: http://www.amazon.com/Converse-Heels-A-Romantic-Story-ebook/dp/B008UC6PWC

I have no idea where Forever Yours, Ocean, Long Distance and Fame, and An Untold Love Story are from. Weirdly, none of these books are connected to this guy's profile. I had to do a separate Google search to find them. I'm not sure if this means Amazon's onto him, but here's hoping.

Someone seriously needs to petition Amazon to check submitted e-books for plagiarism. It really isn't that hard, and it would save the rest of us a lot of headaches. They're a NASDAQ company, for crying out loud. There really is no excuse.

(Title has been changed to "The Misadventures at Seoul High School and the character names have been changed as well.)

I did a Google search for the story "The Final Game," and its summary appears so many times and under so many different titles that I'm not honestly sure where it originated. It's a similar situation with the one-shot "Game Over," though it appears to be some kind of manga by someone named Fuka Mizutani. Again, I'm honestly not sure. It's definitely stolen, though.

I nearly vomited when I came across this, but that's probably because my taste in music is more along the lines of Led Zeppelin.

Making Him Notice by awaitinglove
(I unfortunately can't access the story as I'm not a registered user on the site)

Goodbye is the Beginning by awaitinglove
(Once again, only registered users can access the story; title has been changed to "Goodbye is only the Beginning")

The Dark Prince by The Phoenix Girl
(Same situation as above)

Is this Considered a Cliche? by M.A. Coyne
(Same situation as above; title has been changed to "As Long As You Love Me")

These have all been changed into Justin Bieber fanfics. AthenaLove credits all of them to their respective FP authors, but I highly doubt that she asked permission to "fanfictionize" the stories. I guess some people just don't get that copy-pasting is still plagiarism even if you link back to the original author.
